Equality Act 2010

The Equality Bill received royal assent on Thursday 8th April 2010 and is now the Equality Act 2010. Much of it is due to come into effect in October.

The public sector equality duty is due to come into effect in April 2011.

The age goods and services anti-discrimination law is due to come into effect in stages.
