Training: Engage with the NHS

The Scottish Transgender Alliance is delighted to announce a series of FREE events specifically designed to assist trans people living in Scotland to promote equality through better engagement with public bodies, voluntary organisations and other key structures within society.

Travel expenses are available for participants on low incomes but must be arranged in advance.
From 10am to 4pm on Saturday 27th March 2010 there will be an Engage with the NHS training event. This training day will take place in central Edinburgh. Full venue details will be provided upon booking a place.
This training day will explore a wide variety of practical skills for positively engaging with the NHS to improve trans-awareness and also for challenging effectively problems with trans patient pathways and funding provision levels.
