UK non-binary survey

Thank you to everyone who spread the word about our UK-wide non-binary survey during the 9 weeks (15 July – 16 Sept 2015) that it was open. Particularly huge thanks to all the non-binary people who took the time to answer the survey. We are delighted to have 895 valid non-duplicate survey responses from non-binary people living in the UK. We believe this is the largest UK non-binary data set ever collected.

We have now started analysing the data and will have our preliminary findings ready for when we give oral evidence to the UK Parliament Women and Equalities Committee on 13 October 2015. A full report of the findings will be made available online in December 2015. Early in 2016 we will use the findings to help create good practice guidance on non-binary inclusion for service provider and employers.

If you have any questions about the survey, please do get in touch with Vic Valentine by emailing vic@equality-network.org or calling the office on 0131 467 6039.
