Today we are launching the Scottish Trans and Non-binary Experiences Survey 2023!
If you are trans or non-binary (or have a trans history), live in Scotland at least most of the time, and are aged 16 or over, you can fill out the survey here: https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/scotexptransnonb23?gf_id
It should take around 30 minutes to fill out the survey, which will ask questions around your experiences accessing different services, with housing and homelessness, and about benefits and the cost of living.
We aim to use this data to produce a report highlighting our findings, and we may also use them for training, producing best practice documents, and to submit to local and national government consultations on issues where trans people might have particular experiences or needs. If the information might identify you (such as by mentioning a specific place in an answer about your neighbourhood) we would remove this before using it in this way. We will not pass on any identifiable data about you to any of the services mentioned in the survey.
You should be able to leave the survey and re-open it to finish your answers at a later date by using the link above. The survey closes on June 20th.
Please share this survey with any trans and non-binary people you know in Scotland, and with any trans community or social groups too so we can get a better picture of the diverse range of trans experiences here in Scotland in 2023.
