Spotlight report looking at the experiences of disabled trans and non-binary people from our 2024 Scottish Trans and Non-binary Experiences Report. While a majority of the participants from that survey (67%) were disabled, we found that their experiences were consistently worse than those of non-disabled trans and non-binary people across the different areas of life we asked about. This report focuses on what life is like for disabled trans and non-binary people and the intersecting barriers they face, as well as including more specific recommendations for how services and spaces can make themselves more accessible to this community.
