Sometimes, trans people can face delays when registering to vote. If you’ve changed your name and details with the Department for Work and Pensions/HMRC, there can be problems for your Local Electoral Registration Office finding your National Insurance number to get you registered.
Apply as as soon as you can to make sure you’re registered before the deadline!
