Scottish Trans is currently funded by the Scottish Government via their Equality and Human Rights fund.
The work that we are funded to do by the Scottish Government includes trans equality policy work, trans community engagement and development, including connecting trans people directly to decision-makers, and publishing research and providing accurate information about trans people’s lives and our equality and human rights.
Provide information and advice to Scottish and UK Government officials, MSPs, MPs and other national policy influencers, public bodies, service providers and employers about trans people’s equality and human rights.
Some of the activities we do as part of our policy work include:
Work with trans people and communities to inform our policy work, provide skills training sessions to improve trans people’s confidence in doing things that matter to them, and facilitate direct engagement between trans people and decision makers

We want to make sure that there is increased evidence, knowledge and understanding of trans people’s lives in Scotland, and that trans people understand what our current rights are
